Should this article mention Schindler's alleged role in the Gleiwitz incident? He's already mentioned in the article on the incident itself. It seems like it might be a good tidbit to add to the section on his Abwehr career, if there are reliable sources to support his involvement. 70.181.1.68 (talk) 05:25, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like a pretty minor incident in his life. I don't think we should include it. — Diannaa (talk) 12:28, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish Agency for Israel

[edit]

During WW2, wouldnt the funding be from the Jewish Agency for Palestine? The name was changed after Oskar Schindler's collaboration with them, and therefore the entry's text should state "Jewish Agency for Palestine." The linked to location is correct, but this article's text should use the name that was contemporary to Schindler for the sake of historical accuracy 2601:5CF:8000:6B60:4010:2BF9:AAE6:C475 (talk) 19:43, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. Thanks for the suggestion.

Change one word?

[edit]

I'm wondering about the word "mistreatment" here because it doesn't seem like the right word: "In 1943, Schindler was contacted by Zionist leaders in Budapest via members of the Jewish resistance movement. He travelled to Budapest several times to report in person on Nazi mistreatment of the Jews." Elsnyc (talk) 05:19, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What would you suggest as an alternative? Or, since we're talking about one word, you could probably just be bold and change it. DonIago (talk) 07:18, 25 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
